3 Way Ball Valve with Mounting Pad - High Pressure and Temperature Ratings from China Suppliers & Factory
Product Details
Inside the valve body, a perforated ball with multiple channels aligns with specific ports depending on the rotation of the handle or actuator. The two common flow patterns are:
L-Port: Used mainly for diverting flow between two outlets.
T-Port: Used for mixing or combining flows or for more complex routing.
There are three types of three-way ball valves: T-type, L-type and Y-type. T-type and Y-type three-way ball valves can make three orthogonal pipelines connected to each other and cut off the third channel, which can play the role of diversion and merging. L-type three-way ball valves can only be connected to two pipelines that are orthogonal to each other, and can't keep the third pipeline connected to each other at the same time, but only to play the role of distribution. Three-way ball valves can be threaded or flanged. Our 3 way flanged ball valves are most the panel mount 3 way ball valves with ISO5211 mounting pad, which can be easily equipped with pneumatic or electric actuators for your remote control applications.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between an L-Port and T-Port three-way ball valve?
An L-Port three-way ball valve connects two orthogonal pipelines at a time and is used mainly for flow diversion between two outlets. A T-Port three-way ball valve can connect all three ports simultaneously and is ideal for mixing, combining, or more complex flow routing applications.
What materials are used in the construction of these three-way ball valves?
The main structural components — including the body, cap, ball, stem, and handle — are made from Stainless Steel 304. Sealing elements such as ball seats, end seals, stem packing, and thrust washers are manufactured from PTFE, while O-rings are made from NBR for excellent chemical resistance.
Can these three-way ball valves be automated with pneumatic or electric actuators?
Yes. Our 3-way flanged ball valves are equipped with an ISO5211 mounting pad as standard, making them fully compatible with pneumatic and electric actuators for remote control and automated process applications.
What end connection types are available for three-way ball valves?
Three-way ball valves are available in threaded and flanged end connection types. Flanged versions are especially suitable for panel-mounted installations and actuator-driven systems, while threaded versions are ideal for smaller piping systems.
What pipe sizes are available for the three-way ball valves?
These three-way ball valves are available in a range of sizes from 1/4" up to 2", covering a wide variety of industrial and commercial piping applications. Detailed dimensional specifications including length, height, and width are provided in the Dimensions table above.
Are these valves available in full port or reduced port configurations?
Yes, these three-way ball valves are offered in both full port and reduced port configurations. Full port valves provide minimal flow restriction and are preferred for applications requiring maximum flow rate, while reduced port valves are more compact and cost-effective for standard flow control needs.
