Nov , 18 , 24

After long-term use of the valve, the sealing surface of the valve disc and seat will be worn and the tightness will be reduced.

Valve maintenance and repair is very important to ensure its normal operation, prevent leakage and other problems.

Valve maintenance and maintenance operating procedures

1. Appearance cleaning - Wipe the outside of the valve regularly (once a month is recommended) with a clean rag to remove dust, oil and debris.

2. Lubrication operation - Apply the appropriate amount of lubricant to the valve thread, shaft and other moving parts every quarter.

3. Seal inspection - Perform a seal inspection once a month to observe whether there are signs of leakage in the closed state of the valve.

Maintenance operation procedures

1. Operation flexibility check - Manual operation once every six months. If operation stalls or abnormal resistance are found, the cause should be investigated in time.

2. Parts inspection - Remove the valve every year for a comprehensive inspection, focusing on the wear and damage of the stem, spool and seat. If there is slight wear can be polished; If the spool and seat are worn, corroded or deformed, they should be replaced in time.

4. Pressure test - Newly installed or repaired valves must be pressure tested before being put into use.

5. Record and archive - Make detailed records of each maintenance and maintenance operation, so as to query and analyze the use of the valve in the future.
