Working Principle

When fluid flows in the correct direction, the pressure pushes the disc to swing open, allowing the medium to pass through with minimal resistance. If the flow stops or reverses, gravity and back pressure cause the disc to swing back onto the valve seat, forming a tight seal and preventing reverse flow.
