Cast Steel Flanged Swing Check Valve
Product Details
The cast steel swing check valve disc swings freely with the flow direction and closes automatically when flow reverses, protecting pumps, compressors, and other critical equipment from damage.
Working Principle
When fluid flows in the forward direction, pressure pushes the disc open, allowing smooth and unobstructed flow. Once the flow stops or reverses, gravity and back pressure cause the disc to swing back to the seat, forming a tight seal and effectively preventing backflow—without the need for external power or manual operation.
