DIN Cast Iron Globe Valve PN16 Flanged Ends
Product Details
As a force-seated valve, the globe valve achieves tight sealing by applying stem force to press the disc firmly against the valve seat, effectively preventing medium leakage. When the fluid enters from below the disc, the operating torque must overcome both the friction between the stem and packing as well as the upward pressure exerted by the medium. For this reason, the valve stem is designed with sufficient strength and diameter to ensure safe operation and prevent bending under load.
The sealing element of the globe valve typically adopts a plug-type disc, with either a flat or conical sealing surface. During operation, the disc moves linearly along the centerline of the valve seat, enabling accurate flow control and stable performance across a wide range of pressures and temperatures.
