Stainless Steel Foot Lifting Flange Bottom Valve
Product Details
Lifting bottom valve is an energy-efficient valve commonly installed at the bottom of a pump suction pipeline. Its primary function is to prevent backflow when the pump stops, while allowing fluid to flow in only one direction during operation.

The valve bonnet is designed with multiple inlet openings and reinforced ribs, which effectively reduce the risk of blockage and ensure stable performance. This structure makes the valve suitable for continuous operation in pumping systems.
The foot valve is mainly used on suction lines and is typically equipped with a single-disc design. A flanged connection is commonly adopted, providing secure installation and reliable sealing.
Key Features
1. Robust Construction – Made up of a valve body, disc, cover, strainer basket, sealing ring, and other key components, ensuring durability and reliable operation.
2. Automatic Operation – The disc moves up and down in response to fluid pressure differences between the inlet and outlet, allowing smooth opening under fluid pressure and automatic closing when pressure drops.
3. Backflow Prevention – When the pump stops, the valve closes rapidly under outlet pipe pressure, preventing water from returning to the source, which helps the pump maintain suction and minimizes water loss.
4. High Flow Efficiency – The flow area of the strainer basket, typically made of stainless steel or carbon steel, is 2–3 times larger than the pipe area, reducing clogging and ensuring stable flow.
